MEET Malik Moore  

"Moore for Florida, Moore for Us!"

Hailing from Gainesville Florida,  Malik Moore is a theater kid turned political strategist having worked and advised local, state, and federal candidates with his first being at the age of 17, serving as the youngest person in Campaign leadership in North Central Florida.

 

Malik Moore is an alumnus of Florida State University earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Applied American Politics and Policy.

 

He has served in various capacities such as Campaign Coordinator for Representative Yvonne Hayes Hinson’s congressional bid and the North Florida political Director and Statewide Faith Outreach Director on the 2022 Charlie Crist Gubernatorial campaign. Having most recently served as the Chief of Staff to State Representative Dianne Hart, chair of the Florida Legislative Black Caucus. 

 

Malik Currently serves as the Government Affairs Manager for Cox Communications covering the states of Florida and Georgia.

 

Malik Moore is a history maker having been the youngest person appointed to both the City of Tampa’s newly commissioned Racial Reconciliation Committee and to the Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce’s Public Policy Committee.

 

When asked about his love for politics, Moore believes it to be a calling. Quoting his favorite hymn, it is his “Charge to Keep”.  Malik Moore is a stanch advocate for civil and voting rights, using that passion to make life better for the underserved.

 

It is his hope that his life will be a testament to the faithfulness of God, and a vision of hard work, leaving a legacy of being a true change maker.
